The role
This is a Demand Planner role within their central supply chain team. You'll work alongside their Demand Planning Lead, a Supply Planner, an Operations Planner, and another Demand Planner.
You'll manage a portfolio of SKUs across Australia and New Zealand - a complex portfolio with substitution patterns, out of stock scenarios, and variable demand spikes. The business is moving away from Excel-dependent forecasting and exploring modern demand planning platforms as part of a broader transformation agenda.

The role
This is a Demand Planner role within their central supply chain team. You'll work alongside their Demand Planning Lead, a Supply Planner, an Operations Planner, and another Demand Planner.
You'll manage a portfolio of SKUs across Australia and New Zealand - a complex portfolio with substitution patterns, out of stock scenarios, and variable demand spikes. What you will be doing
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer demand patterns
- Collaborate with Sales, Products, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance to incorporate market intelligence
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet service targets while managing costs effectively
- Monitor and analyse demand variability and trends across the full product lifecycle
- Support Sales and Operations Planning through data driven insights
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and move toward modern planning tools
- Communicate demand plans and changes clearly and on time to key stakeholders
Essential:
- 7+ years in demand planning with a strong understanding of forecasting and inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholder alignment
- Genuine interest in contributing to the ongoing transformation of the demand planning function
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Understanding of IBP
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving processes
- Willing to challenge assumptions and validate system outputs
- Collaborative approach across multiple functions
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights
- Motivated by building and improving processes, not maintaining status quo
