We're working with a fast-growing industrial distribution business that's been going through consistent growth since 2018. They're looking for a Senior Warehouse Team Leader to join their team and help keep things running smoothly across their Warehouse and facilitate their next phase of growth.

The Role Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse operators.

This is a hands-on leadership role, but you will also have the opportunity to make change, lead, and come up with ideas around implementation and efficiency.

What you'll be focusing on
  • Lead and support the warehouse team day to day - think training, guidance, and keeping everyone on the same page
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Looking for opportunities to improve the warehouse function
  • Oversee receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to make sure orders go out accurately and on time
  • Handle stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to keep inventory accurate
  • Work with the other warehouses around Australia and support their operations and CI initiatives as well
What our client is looking for
Must Haves:
  • At least 3-5 +  years in a warehouse Team Leader/Management or a similar role in a busy environment
  • Experience using SAP ideally (they use S4 Hana)
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Good at problem-solving and have the ability to be agile
