 Our client, a globally recognised manufacturer with a strong footprint across Australia and New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Demand Planning and S&OP Manager to drive forecasting excellence and strategic planning across their Pacific operations.

This is an influential role where you'll own the demand planning process, influence key business decisions, and work at the intersection of Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Finance.

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of the demand planning function for the Pacific region, building fit-for-purpose demand plans that support both customer needs and business objectives. This role sits at the heart of the S&OP process, requiring you to lead cross-functional collaboration, drive forecast accuracy, and ensure the entire stakeholder base understands gaps, risks, and opportunities.
You'll have 1 direct report and influence across a wider supply chain team, with the authority to shape processes, implement improvements, and participate in digital transformation initiatives.
 
What you will take responsibility for
 
  • Build and maintain forecasting models that drive business decisions across the Pacific region
  • Lead the Demand Review process and chair cross-functional S&OP meetings with Sales, Product Management, and Operations
  • Manage demand inputs, monitor budget variances, and prepare KPI reports on forecast accuracy and bias
  • Lead ABC/XYZ analysis programs and facilitate safety stock analysis across all Pacific SKUs
  • Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis, forecast reviews, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Develop inventory projection models and expand S&OP routines across Pacific markets
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks and opportunities, working cross-functionally to resolve variances
What our client is looking for
  • 5 + years leading and managing demand processes in an S&OP or IBP environment (ideally in national or multinational organisations)
  • Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of P&L relationships
  • Ability to influence at an SLT level 
  • Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement in demand outcomes
  • Product portfolio facilitation experience
