About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead day-to-day operations, this is a hands-on leadership role overseeing production, maintenance, and engineering functions. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, implementing continuous improvement projects, and supporting the business’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor production, maintenance, and engineering teams to meet output and quality targets.

  • Drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and process optimisation.

  • Oversee production planning, materials flow, and inventory accuracy.

  • Manage operational budgets, including labour, maintenance, and capital expenditure.

  • Support and deliver engineering and capital improvement projects.

  • Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining safety and product integrity.

  • Ensure compliance with quality and WHS standards.

About You

  • Proven background in manufacturing management, ideally within industrial or heavy manufacturing.

  • Strong people leadership and team development experience.

  • Practical knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience managing engineering projects and capital investments.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
