About the Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, the Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and packaging to meet production requirements. With a strong focus on material planning, inventory control, and supplier coordination, this role is pivotal to maintaining supply continuity and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage material plans and supply plans in line with production forecasts
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters to minimise stockouts or overstocking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Warehousing teams
- Liaise with suppliers to track lead times, order fulfilment, and resolve any supply disruptions
- Maintain planning accuracy in ERP systems through consistent review of master data and planning settings
- Support product launches and promotional campaigns through forward material planning
- 5+ years’ experience in supply or material planning, ideally within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (Pronto would be ideal)
- Solid understanding of inventory control and supply planning principles
- Ability to be agile and problem-solve quickly
- Proactive communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
