Our client is a global leading provider of innovative industrial products, service and solutions, into industries like mining. They are on a strong growth trajectory with planned aquations in their pipeline over the APAC region. With a strong commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain leader to join their team here in Australia.

Role Overview:

As the Supply Chain Manager for APAC, you will be pivotal in driving the strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations across the region, including Southeast Asia. This role focuses on inventory management, warehouse and distribution as well as strategic purchasing as well as ensuring the seamless flow of goods to meet the demands of a service-oriented business. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategic Direction: Develop an overall strategic plan for the supply chain function within the APAC region.
  • Inventory Planning & Optimisation: Oversee and implement efficient inventory planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels across the APAC region.
  • Strategic Supplier Management: Develop supplier strategy and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
  • Warehouse and distribution: Enhance current warehousing function that is going through a decentralisation process.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance supply chain processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase overall productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the  supply chain team located both in ANZ and SE Asia.
  What our client is looking for: 

  • Proven experience in a senior supply chain management role, with a strong focus on inventory management within the services industry (ideal but not essential)
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing regional supply chain operations across ANZ and ideally the APAC region.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders including at a global level.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in process/system implementation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
